    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Use the ssh to connect to the instance. You specify the path and file name of the private key (.pem), the user name for your instance ( Username : ec2-user ) , and the public DNS name or IPv6 address for your instance.

    Usage instructions :

    • The operating system does not save sensitive information for users/customers.
    • There are no data encryption techniques set for current AMI.
    • Disabled password-based remote logins for the root user.
    • PermitRootLogin is set to without-password. (Location : sshd_config)
    • The current AMI does not contain authorized_keys and password.
    • Users can launch instances of AMI with a key pair and log in without requiring a root password.
    • Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region.
    • Choose Instance and start using launched instance.
