    • Keep private data private: Private databases should not be exposed to the public internet with service ports, reverse proxies, or holes in your firewall. Ockam isolates data exposure to mutually-authenticated private applications.
    • Secure Kakfa Streams: Guarantee data authenticity and integrity from producers all-the-way to consumers. Kafka brokers have clear text access to your data streams. Ockam end-to-end encrypts the data-in-motion through Kafka.

    Ockam Node for Amazon MSK within an existing VPC

    "The template will deploy an EC2 machine and configure Ockam Node for Amazon MSK.

    EC2 machine's security group egress rules are setup to allow ongoing internet connection. Script in UserData will download latest ockam binary and configure the node based on the provided configuration input via cloudformation template. Ockam node will establish connection to Ockam Orchestrator.

    IAM role attached to EC2 machine will provide permission to connect via Session Manager. You can look at documentation (https://docs.ockam.io/ ) on how to create a project, generate enrollment tickets and use the details to configure outlet or inlet. Note that you will need to create an inlet AND outlet to create an encrypted relay."
