What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake doesn't have a native offering with cloud providers like Google, aws or azure.
Bulk loading is a bit difficult.
The next generation of data is going to be unstructured and semi structured. Snowflake must look into this domain as it currently does not offer much in this niche

An absolute dream
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake expedites the process of data querying in the best possible ways. It helps us out by:
- finding compilation errors immediately
- providing great functions
- being insanely fast

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had a dark mode!
The linking process with Tableau is a little finicky, but on the whole, is a very good system. I do not have huge complaints about this product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use snowflake for querying, insights, and sharing our findings.
I would like give it to 10 but it's only for fully cloud based enterprises. So I give it 8.

I liked its unique architecture, and also about security.

I disliked not supporting hybrid. Because our customer only need hybrid.

In order to solve big data that RDBMS can't handle properly.

What do you like best about the product?
I usually use Snowflake with SAS and PowerBI,
It is Awesome and very smooth with all microsoft products.
Connectivity and refresh timing with PowerBI is phenomenal.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really dont recall and dislike, but still i would recommend that screen size/Terminal size can be increased for writing SQL queries and result view window also can have some features like traversing to next/previous records, Sorting by variables, choosing top N records etc.

Yes, Very much, i use mainly as Data warehouse and consume that data using power BI.
It really helps in faster connectivity and good refresh rate to manage data in millions.

What do you like best about the product?
Using and Working with Snowflake is Like Cake Walk if You have Some Knowledge on Databases and SQL/Oracle. Snowflake Provides an Intensive Set of Connector APIs Such as Spark connector, Python connector, etc., and Javascript Language-Based Stored Procedure Support. Snowflake is a Virtual Data Warehouse So You Don't Need to Worry about Managing things Physically or Hectically. Performance of Query Execution is Incredible even for larger Datasets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Only Thing I Dislike about Snowflake Data Warehouse is Inability of Inferring Schema of Data Files Reading from Stage Area Such as Reading CSV, Json, Parquet, ORC etc from S3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I Worked On Data Quality Framework, the Client was required to Execute Custom SQL Queries for Creating Aggregated Datasets or Dataframes either for S3 Data Files or Snowflake Tables using Snowflake Compute and Triggering all the System through AWS Step Function and AWS Lambda, By this way we Saved the Cost of AWS EMR and Also Reduced the Time Taken to Access or Operate Large Datasets(Size>4GB).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If You are in Business or Work of Data Analysis, Data Science, and Data Warehousing, Quickly go for it Don't Even Think Twice.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using Snowflake for pushing data metrics and storing them in collaboration with AWS infra DB. The table organization and querying on database tables are smooth. It also captures the history of all your query and also provides an SQL auto-completion feature. It has a beautiful syntax color highlighting, which makes things readable. A new interface is now available, which offers full account search, chart visualization, SQL autocomplete, dashboards, and much more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of right now. Snowflake works great for my team and me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Snowflake for pushing data metrics and storing them in either AWS infra DB, Snowflake Sample data. It also allows importing worksheets from the classic version to Snowsight, making the relocation easier. We also use Snowflake's secure share to consume data shared in our organization and provide it to others.
I have worked for a retail company and used a snowflake to get a required data using a SQL query.

The way data are stored, and the output is displayed.

It is hard to recover and use the deleted data.

The problem I solved using a snowflake is getting the required data from a warehouse and using it to create a report.

Lots of functions, flexible SQL, easy to use interface, I like the new visualization tools. I don't talk to customer service, but teams seem to think They're very responsive. They're becoming our default database in the company. Admin has good access to query history.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Documentation for functions is sometimes worded confusingly and does not provide a lot of examples. Incredibly tough to upload CSV files into tables, have to use SE files through AWS, very few straightforward ways to go about it locally within a snowflake.

Data analytics and applied data science, product analytics, business analytics, deep dives into big data, bug finding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Store your queries elsewhere if you plan on reusing. Visualizations still leave some things to be desired. Make sure you know who admin permissions to access history in case something gets lost in the mix since it'll be hard to recover otherwise has.
