The SRT functionality is the best. It's reliable and has lots of useful features like restreaming, recording and transcoding. They keep adding new capabilities too. I highly recommend it.

Excited to use this more

Our business has been live streaming with various "providers" for several years. We've used Boxcast, Wowza, and currently Vimeo. Just got a nasty message from Vimeo that I went over the bandwidth limit that I thought was "unlimited." I have had a little experience with AWS so I thought I would give this a go. They have some very easy guides on doing the set-ups and, most importantly, the support is very good and at a personal level. At present, I have a cloudfront distribution set-up and I'm feeling pretty confident that this product may be a good fit for us. I've also figured out the "Pay Per View." There are a lot of great things in here and I would highly recommend giving this a try. If you don't have any server experience with AWS, now is the time to get it. As I mentioned the online articles and guides are very thorough. One reason I wanted to give this a try is that I can stream SRT .h265 at 1/2 the bandwidth and then convert it to .h264 and stream it where ever. Thanks Marta for your great support!!

Great package of tools and easy to use

Callaba is a powerful platform with several tools for different streaming scenarios. Once subscribed, the installation was fast and easy, and ready to use within a few minutes.
The documentation is clear and full of pictures to guide you to the setting process, but one of the most remarkable features is the support. The dashboard has a Support button that shows a form where you put your question, and in matter of minutes a support agent answer you by email. This is very helpful.
I had used Callaba in the past week for a 4-day event with multilingual live-streaming, and it worked impressive. None a single glitch or failure during all the time that I was streaming. Very happy with the result and looking forward to a new opportunity to use it.

I've been looking for something like this

I wanted to simplify my streaming and stumbled upon Callaba's tutorial about turning UDP into RTMP.
I tried to do something similar. I like that you basically say to the program "hey, get this, now give me that and send it there". So you re-package different streams this way and change codecs for different purposes. So far very easy to use. I tested the web player and shared it with my teammate and he played it on his phone in another town. Very cool stuff, I'm looking forward to using Callaba in my projects.

Flexible settings

I needed to organize remote production, and I gotta say Callaba Cloud's restreaming feature is super flexible. Broadcasting to different platforms all at once is easy now taht I figured it out. But I also wish they would add stream quality stats to the cloud.

Good embed srt player

We use callaba web player to monitor srt streams we send from the field to the studio. So far so good and its cool that they allow to remove the branding. We would also like to have an option to restrict access to the player. So that only the authorized people could view it. Would've helped to avoid accidents.

Audio issues on relay to YouTube or rtmp

  • July 21, 2022

SRT is working ok, but all the actions with feed inside the cloud it's a dead end. rtmp delay not usable, YouTube relay not usable, rtmp servers not usable. I am streaming over obs and same settings works without any problem on Restream, castr, amazon media cloud. Hope this will be fixed in the future. now for me it works in 30%.

Good service for SRT broadcasts organizing

  • September 02, 2021

I was looking for a service for oranizing broadcasting using the SRT protocol.
And I found it, using Callaba Cloud I was able to create a stream through a server with SRT support in a few minutes.
Detailed manuals that I founnd on the company's website helped me in setting up the broadcast.
I can recommend this service for anyone looking for a simple solution for streaming via SRT.
