One of the best Enterprise Content Management System Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
It is highly flexible and configurable tool.File sync, storage, Security and Archiving are best features i like here. Customer support is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes here, but i feel that premium subscription training that it provides is little bit costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large volume of files can be stored securely and safely here which helps in increasing the business rapidly and fastly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend others to use Onbase for fast growth of your business by storing large volume of files.

USER THOUGHTS REGARDING ONBASE SOFTWARE
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have multiple categories to store and retrieve documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few occasions when images documents would somehow be directed to another file or categorical location not specified by user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to maintain tons of paper and clutter, frees up office space as well as efficiency when retrieving specific docs.
Beneficial in the aspect of knowing where to extract pertinent data and less time consuming in the attempt to manage categorically and file manually. Reduces time constraints as well and the query when searching makes it easier to find what you are looking for versus an old dusty filing cabinet with old and aged and illegible or even faded documents .

Very helpful and efficient tool especially useful when having to keep track of clientele records and specific and contracts etc.,
Useful when it works
What do you like best about the product?
When all of the algorithms are correctly implemented and upstream correctly set up, it can be very useful for generation of one person's documents or work contract. It saves a lot of time compared to manual creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It usually takes a long time to update the aforementioned algorithms. Updating these algorithms can also be a hit or miss task, as updating one section can sometimes backfire and mess up the formatting of the document. The details also have to be correctly set up in the upstream tool, otherwise, the document might not generate at all or can be generated incorrectly. The biggest downside however, is not having the option for mass upload. Whenever you need to upload documents for multiple candidates, you have to do it one by one, which can be very time-consuming. The UI looks a bit dated and can feel clunky at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my previous company, OnBase was primarily used for document generation. If properly implemented, the tool can be very efficient and time-saving. It's also easier to keep track of the document uniformity as it reduces the need for manual intervention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you get used to it, the tool can be very useful, but please be mindful of its limitations. Also be aware that the tool will need your manual input in many cases. There might also be scenarios where you will not be able to use the tool at all, depending on specific business need. Also carefully review the documents when generated and whenever you spot an error, report it to your supporting team as soon as possible. Keep track of these errors and inform your peers as well.
On Onbase is essential to expeditious I9 processing.

The downside is the updates and password changes.

Updating work authorization documents in a timely manner to prevent employee suspensions.
OnBase is limited in functionality but otherwise works well

We can forward requests to supervisors but not comment on why.

The functionality is limited and notes cannot be added. We cannot create new labels for additional documents. Also we cannot email documents from OnBase to other staff.

We use it for document scanning and review.
Great ECM tool, But UI/UX experience is not that great

consolidate ECM suite, easy to integrate with other systems, easy to configure and administrate

UI/UX experience, product support, Client apps(Unity client) never get revamped

Great ECM tool for Document, Case, and Workflow management. UI/UX needs a lot of improvement

What do you like best about the product?
End user perspective: Very easy to use by end users as the look and feel is similar to any Microsoft application.
Developers perspective: Extremely easy to develop custom solutions compared to other ECMs.
Administrators perspective: this is one of the ECM which is very well organised and maintenance of application is very easy.

Change migration between different environments needs to be improved further.
When there are dependencies between the custom solutions hen the existing out of the box change migration isn't 100% effective.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onbase Workflow are being used to effectively initiate the approval of Rx prescriptions and complete the entire order processing.
Benefits: the cycle time for approvals, placing the order, validationg the orders, shipping the orders has greatly reduced from 3 days to less than 1 day.

If you are looking for an ECM which is low mentainence and easy to used then Onbase should be the first choice.
Very good and adaptable software for any use case!

The most helpful thing about onbase is that it lets our system to easily track all the documents needed. It contains the records of all the processed, unprocessed, and on going status of our works.

The thing that keeps me troubled when using this system is that too much information sometimes causes it to lag or breakdown.

As I said the previous statement. When I urgently need informations, status and documents. I can easily track it down thru onbase
