What do you like best about the product?
You can use Outsystems to quickly and easily create mock-ups, webservices and full blown web applications.
There's even an AI feature which helps you with suggestions on how to create your logic.

What do you dislike about the product?
The very expensive licensing and the fact that if you want to stop using Outsytsems, it means you can't efficiently build upon the code generated by Outsystems, basically putting your progress on the project to a stop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems helps us to quickly create internal applications for the business while simultaniously creating customer facing applications.

OutSystems is a well-rounded low-code platform known for its high performance.
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems as a package encourages reuse. When you handle this correctly, you'll notice that each project progresses faster because you'll have more and more components that you can use out-of-the-box.
At the moment, we have a cloud license, which eliminates so much 'hassle.' Everything regarding the server is managed by OutSystems, allowing us to focus solely on adding business value.
Additionally, the robust support provided by OutSystems ensures that any issues or concerns are promptly addressed, further streamlining our development process and enhancing overall productivity. The user-friendly interface and extensive documentation make it easy for our team to quickly learn and implement new features, empowering us to innovate and adapt to evolving business needs with ease. Overall, our experience with OutSystems has been overwhelmingly positive, revolutionizing the way we approach application development and driving tangible results for our organization.

There aren't many things I dislike about OutSystems. It is a well-rounded system that both small and large businesses can take advantage of. The only downside I've come across as a consultant is the lack of support for supported components

With OutSystems, we can digitalize our 'old' processes, saving a lot of money. Additionally, we can create numerous quick prototyping apps to assess if our business requires them

I have been working with OutSystems for about 2.5 years and it was a user friendly there are many forge components and many inbuilt functions which are very useful lifetime in OutSystems for deployment

the environmental cost is a bit expensive and the conflict issue is making some complexity while development

Some features are hard to customize like UI widgets , data pickers, line chart

Outsytems mianly reduce the time for developing applications ( mobile and web) , A entire project can be done with professtional within few months

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of time it takes to create a new application screen is speedy. Buttons and forms are beneficial to get a pre-structured UI.
When we talk for Client action and server action it is very easy to understand someone's logic and the debugging UI is too easy.

Data security: When I say data security I mean the role hierarchy, eg we have a multiples roles and the reoles are in form of a tree it becoles very comples to have object, field and record level security with respect to data isolation from other users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of time it takes to build a product is very low comparatively, with easy customization and fit for the business use cases.

it is low code platform and because of that we are able to develope applications very fastly. we can delivery application within time line. we can write readable code.

There is nothing to describe as dislike. The platform is pretty much doing good.

Integration with third party data base is very easy in outsystems. we can easly consume and expose rest api that is benefiting us. There is no complexity to perform difficult integrations.
