What do you like best about the product?

The extensive range of features and configuration options can be overwhelming, and there may be a steep learning curve involved for smaller organizations or those without dedicated IT staff
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
provides robust protection against cyber threats such as malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks through advanced features like deep packet inspection and real-time threat intelligence and provides granular control over user access and application usage, which helps in enforcing organizational policies and preventing unauthorized activities.

One of the best Firewall
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos is one of the best firewall recommended by one of our It consultant. What i like about sophos firewall is its easy to use features, Ease of implementation, The customer support & its easy to integrate. The frequency of using firewall is leass. As its does not required special technical ITR team to handle the firewall.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike about sophos firewall is its some time support. We have to wait 1-2 days to get the support from sophos support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were facing ransomware attack at regural basis. We have tried various cyber security tools to get rid of ransomware attack. One day our IT consultant suggested us to try Sophos firewall. Today is the day we have never face any cyber threat or any ransomware attack.

Sophos firewall is stoping treats before they can spread, Sophos Firewalls: Automatically identify and block active threat, Prevent the lateral movement of attacks, Deliver immediate insights into compromised devices, users and application. Sophos firewall is easy to use & easy to implement. The frequency of use of sophos firewall is very high. The customer support is 24*7. Sophos firewall is easy to integrate.

Theres is nothing to dislike in sophos firewall. i like everything about sophos firewall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos firewall solve our cyberthreat problems. Before sophos firewall our organization was facing lot of issues with the cyberthreats. There was ransomware attacks in our organization. Our IT team was not able to resolve the issue. Our Cybersecurity consultant has suggested us to shift our network into sophos. It has been one year since we are using sophos firewall and our network is safe now.

The management interface is very simple and thorough and offer the best dashboard and reporting, cloud management solution, Very simple when trying to implement, Synchronized Security and cross—product integration between Firewall and Endpoint, Support team are very friendly and informative, suitable for SMB businesses

It lacks the concept of SD-WAN but sd-red solves this problem

All-in-one (Email Filtering, Web App Firewall, NGFW), Connect multiple sites using the sd-red device and one firewall

easy to install and manage with lots of features, Heartbeat between XGS and Intercept X which enables firewall to isolate infected device

I have not encountered any issues with Sophos, except that the SD-WAN could benefit from further development

We required a centralized solution to manage and collect logs from various firewalls located in different areas. Sophos Central, being completely free, eliminated the need for a separate management solution. It also analyzes threats and provides root cause analysis of any attacks

What do you like best about the product?
Specifically the xgs3100 model, the gui interface is very simple and thorough. Setting up policies is a breeze. Alerts and statistics are very informative. Never had any issues.
Support, as well as migration team are very friendly and informative. MDR team responds quick to any anomalies in our network. and follows up until case is closed and we are satisfied.

We havent found anything negative about using Sophos as our primary firewall solution.

Sophos firewall is the best NGFW in the market. The first thing what i like about sophos NGFW is its easy to use & east to implement. The customer support team is very helpful at the time of installation. The frequency of use of sophos firewall is very high in our organization.

The firewall registration process is very hectic. some time the firewall does not registered on particular mail id. we have to try sevearl mail id to rigister sophos firewall. The company need to focus more on this issue. As a sophos user this is the biggest challenge in sophos firewall.

There was regural ransomware attack in our organization network. we were using Gajshield NGFW. Our IT manager suggest us for sophos NGFW.

what i like about sophos firewall is its Sophos central feature from where we can manage sophos firewall , End pont protection server protection from single console. The anothder features is its user freindly .the firewall emplementation was very easy the customaer support team was very suppotive at the time of sophos firewall installation.
There is another feature of sophos firewall ZERO day Protection.its keep ransomware attacks away from my network .

There is nothing to dislike about sophos firewall . apart from this they can impoves there after sale support and customer relationship.

Earlier we use to have Gajshield Firewall at our office its failed to stop Ransomware attacks .
So we shifted from gajshield to SOPHOS Since then we have never recived any ransomware attacks.

1. Having user authentication capabilities, including LDAP connectivity and multi-factor authentication, without the requirement for additional licensing, is a plus.
2. The ZTNA feature that was just implemented is fantastic to have without the need to setup any more gateways.
3. SD-WAN routing capabilities allow us properly use the available gateways utilizing multiple Service Level Agreements.

1.The firewall should have a third-party threat telemetry feature for ingesting threat data such as SHA values.
2.Reporting should be more granular and configurable.
3.The OEM should provide a specialized on-premise reporting device to meet the needs of air gap network reporting/logging for an extended length of time.

We have had a positive experience with the product from the deployment phase to the point where we can now fully utilize it. The product's major strength is its ease of control and breadth of protection across many tiers, allow us to achieve robust protection at all times.
