OpenJD is an extendable framework for studios, TDs, or developers to build DCC job submitters that describe all the requirements and options for a specified render job—compatible with multiple job schedulers, not just Deadline Cloud. OpenJD enables you to freely integrate Deadline Cloud with your current tools, custom submitters, and schedulers.
Deadline Cloud provides a dashboard and step-by-step setup wizard that you can use to create a cloud-based render farm. After setting up your studio, render farm, and integrations, you can install plugin packages that add tooling and UI elements to provide a smooth user experience. Your artists use the plugin UIs in their favorite software applications to define job parameters such as the frame range, render layers, and other application and render software options.
