Darede Increases Revenue and Grows Business by Participating in the AWS Partner Transformation Program

Darede Servicos de TI (Darede) significantly transformed its business by participating in the the AWS Partner Transformation Program (AWS PTP). The IT consulting company entered the program aiming to boost its standing as an AWS Partner and gain more knowledge of AWS best practices. While participating in the AWS PTP, Darede worked with ADVANCE Consulting to create a custom 100-day transformation plan to strategize ways to meet its business objectives. Throughout the program, Darede increased its annual revenue by 99 percent, achieved numerous AWS Certifications, and won AWS Consulting Partner of the Year in 2021.

The company is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, a designation for AWS Partners with a strong team of trained and certified technical individuals and proven customer experience. Darede often seeks to grow its knowledge of AWS services so that it can deliver stronger solutions and meet customer expectations.

To boost its standing as an AWS Partner, Darede participated in the AWS PTP, a comprehensive assessment and training program focused on helping AWS Partners build a successful and profitable business on the AWS cloud. Working alongside AWS PTP consultant ADVANCE Consulting, Darede accelerated its growth and achieved several business objectives, such as becoming an AWS Partner of the Year.

Darede delivers IT solutions to streamline business processes. The company has been an AWS Partner since 2016 and continually seeks ways to expand its cloud capabilities. “We were already an AWS Partner with a history of success, but we had big ambitions,” says Flavio Rescia, Chief Technical Officer and Cofounder of Darede. “To achieve our goals, we needed more knowledge.”

In 2020, Darede chose to participate in the AWS PTP and engaged ADVANCE Consulting for support. ADVANCE Consulting developed a customized 100-day transformation plan for Darede, outlining steps to reach goals like obtaining AWS Certifications, which validate cloud skills and expertise.

Darede boosted its profile as an AWS Partner by participating in the AWS PTP. It grew its number of AWS Certifications from 50 to over 180 and achieved four AWS Competencies, which validate demonstrated AWS technical expertise. In 2021, Darede was named AWS Consulting Partner of the Year, recognizing the strength and quality of its offerings on AWS.

As Darede has improved its knowledge and access to AWS services, the company has been able to deliver more advanced solutions. “Our customers get key advantages now that we have more AWS Certifications,” says Rescia. “Our products are better than they were before the AWS PTP.” At the guidance of ADVANCE Consulting, Darede has also simplified its services. For example, it developed a consulting-as-a-service product, a flexible plan for customers to build custom IT solutions.

Darede has achieved significant business objectives by strengthening its IT offerings. The company increased its annual revenue by 99 percent and expanded from 50 to 130 employees. Darede also grew its AWS monthly recurring revenue from $192,000 in 2020 to $526,000 in 2021 and expanded its customer base by becoming an AWS Public Sector Partner, which are AWS Partners with experience supporting government, space, education, and nonprofits. Darede has since increased its engagement with public sector clients, growing from three customers to over 20 in the education sector alone.

Through the AWS PTP, Darede has expanded its knowledge of AWS services and achieved significant business growth. “The AWS PTP was a milestone for Darede,” says Rescia. “We transformed how we positioned ourselves to our customers and greatly matured our business processes.”
